Doctor's car. My personal car used to go back and forth to my office. Only 60850 miles. Everything works as it should. I live in a hot climate, so, I never needed a hardtop. Since I've retired, I use it sparingly and it sits in my garage under a car cover. Like a true Mercedes it runs flawlessly. It is smooth, extremely quiet, and powerful. The 5 liter V8 is legendary for its reliability and bulletproof performance. The best years for drivers are 1996, 1997 and 1998, which have both the quad-cam engine and the 5-speed transmission. They are the best SL500s ever made and are real Mercedes, not watered down Daimler-Chryslers. The body has no dents or scratches. The original silver paint shines like new. The interior is in exceptional condition. As the photos show, there are no wear areas, rips, or tears anywhere on the leather seats. This is a great car which I'm selling only because I don't want it to sit in the garage unused. Good luck bidding.

Up for sale is a Mercedes SL500 in perfect shape. Not much to say about this car except that it drives and feels like a Mercedes SL should. It is a mechanically sound car and the paint is perfect. Not running, needs engine wiring harness. Cloth top could stand to be replaced. Needs paint in several areas. Has been stored for several years. Everything worked well prior to the wiring harness going bad.
